i just wanted to let everyone know that there is a website in most states for information regarding food banks and christmas charities. The one that I have is in RI cause that is where i live..www.RIfoodbank.org that is the main food bank in Cranston and I went to ask.com and got the listing for christmas charities, maybe some of you would like to try them.. can you please tell me where i can go for holiday assistance for my four children? We are not receiving any assistance through the state. We are just having a hard time since our landlord through ud onto the street because he was losing the home, leaving us to live in a hotel for 4 months. We have found a home, at last. To whom it may concerne; I am a single mother of three children, ages 14, 15, and 16 years old. I am also the care taker to my mother who is disabled. I have always struggled financially but always seem to make it, however ealier this year my mother shattered her knee and still remains in the hospital after Three surgeries!! Leaving me with out a job (since I was her caretaker) I do have a part-time job but I have fallen way behind with everything, but my primary concerne is paying my rent so my children have shelter, if there is any kind soul out there who can give me a hand, u must be an angel!!
